Complete application consists of a cover letter, resume, three (3) references from the most current supervisors.   Applicants must provide the current mandatory checks which are Criminal Record, Child Abuse Registry and prior contact checks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education in related field of Child Welfare is an asset
  • Be available for evening and weekends
  • Have an understanding of the Child & Family Services Act
  • Excellent assessment, verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • To work independently with minimum supervision
  • Must have valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle as travel is required and must continue to possess as condition of employment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Gather and document all pertinent information
  • Provide information to immediate supervisor
  • Work in collaboration with Supervisors regarding on-call
  • Attend training as required

Salary will be negotiable based on qualification
